About Us

MY.MY.MY. OFFICIAL is an online store based in Shiga, Japan. We are not a middleman and not a reseller — the company, the warehouse and the people are all here in Japan.

Who we are

The store is run by Kobayashi International Trading Co., Ltd. (小林国際貿易株式会社), Japanese corporate number 6160001025355, with its head office in Inae-cho, Hikone City, on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa. We have traded from Japan for many years, mainly with Hong Kong, Taiwan, Canada, Nepal, Singapore and Thailand, and we also promote travel in Shiga and cycling around Lake Biwa.

Why Shiga

Shiga was once called Ōmi, and because Lake Biwa sits at its centre it has long been known as the lake country. Cherry trees along the shore in spring, wind off the Hira mountains in summer, red leaves in autumn, snow on Hikone Castle in winter.

We live here. The tea fields of Asamiya, Ōmi pickles, CHIIKAWA regional editions you can only buy in Shiga — none of this turns up in a Tokyo duty-free shop, and very little of it reaches the usual proxy-buying lists. The good things we come across in daily life are picked out one by one and sent to you by hand.

How we work

Checked by hand — every item arrives at our warehouse in Shiga first, where it is counted and checked before it ships.
Consolidated shipping — several orders are packed together and compressed to keep the shipping cost down.
Tracked all the way — a tracking number is emailed to you once the parcel leaves us.
A person replies — enquiries are normally answered by email within one to two business days.
